September has arrived, and it is time to sow the seed for the new season with the Amazone Cayros Plough. This 5-furrow fiend has been a hit with our customers and the good news is that we have a special price on an ex-demo unit for our machine of the month!

The Amazone Cayros plough was first introduced to the market in 2016 following Amazone’s takeover of the German plough factory from Vogel and Noot. The five model, three to six furrow range offers a lighter duty entry level option for those not willing to invest its big brother, the Amazone Cayron.

The four and five furrow XMS models have been increasingly popular with our customers thanks to the sturdy 12mm thick beam to handle extra furrow and the 200hp on the front and can easily handle heavy contracting operations or work on larger estates.

Another amazing characteristic of the Cayros ploughs is C-plus carbon-hardening process on the face of wearing parts. This treatment offers the plough prolonged longevity, super strength and means that less pulling power is required meaning reduced fuel consumption-win, win! The rear of the mouldboard is not treated in the same way, which helps with soil flow.
