At the Hamilton Ross Group, our primary concern is for the well being of our employees and customers. Due to ongoing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to take the following precautions to reduce risk and minimise business interruption, with immediate effect.
As agreed in advance with customers, on farm and site breakdowns/visits will continue to be supported, but with minimised direct human contact where possible.
• For each visit, new disposable gloves will be worn when in contact with machines and in addition to this any point of contact will be sanitised with anti-bacterial wipes or spray.
• These same actions will apply to services/repairs in our depots and we ask that you call ahead before arrival with your machine so that we can prepare adequately.
Hand sanitiser will be present at the entry of all depots, with staff regularly cleaning high contact points with anti-bacterial wipes or spray within our depots.
• Parts delivery service for any customers that are currently self-isolating can be arranged via Royal Mail, courier or direct delivery where possible with no direct human contact.
• The primary form of contact for our sales teams will be via phone calls, emails and text messages, minimising direct human contact where possible.
• Our sales teams will no longer be carrying out unscheduled visits to customers, but if an agreed visit is arranged in advance, our sales teams have been provided with hand sanitiser and will clean their hands, on arrival and prior to leaving.
We appreciate your patience and co-operation during this time and will update our procedures and guidelines as required over the coming weeks in line with government advice. If you could please share this information with anyone who may be impacted it would be much appreciated.
With best wishes
The Management of Hamilton Ross Group
