David Methven turned to the Hamilton Ross Group in search of an efficient and comfortable tractor that was able to meet the needs of his business.

Tom Bannon, Perth Area Sales Manager, had the perfect tractor in mind for David – the all new MF 8S. With an array of new and improved features, David quickly realised that this was the tractor for the job. David’s business D. Methven (Turnston) specialises in Forestry and Agricultural Contracting, so David relies heavily on his MF 8S tractor to help with day-to-day tasks such as wood chipping, bed tilling, spraying and haulage work.

Operator, Arthur Wright, spends his days in the tractor and has noticed huge improvements in both comfort and efficiency. Starting with the cab, Arthur acknowledged that the 8S cab is more comfortable and that the cab air con is significantly better. What’s more, he picked up on improvements in the engine cooling as well as the Datatronic 5 – which he specified is a lot easier to navigate and set up.

The MF 8S allows for easier set up profiles for each machine and Dyna 7 is a great gearbox especially for haulage work on the road, Arthur shared.
