Our two nominees, Max Morrison & Danny Cook, were rewarded with prizes at Lantra Scotland’s ALBAS 2023 (Awards for Land-based and Aquaculture Skills), which took place on Thursday 9th March in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dunblane Hydro. The ALBAS are organised by Lantra, the sector skills council for the land-based, aquaculture and environmental conservation industries.
Danny Cook, who won “Land-based Engineering Learner of the Year”, finished his apprenticeship in Land-based Engineering through SRUC Oatridge Campus while training at our R&R Machinery depot in Cupar.

Max Morrison is currently doing an SVQ in Land-based Engineering Groundcare through SRUC Oatridge Campus while training at our Hamilton Brothers depot in Bishopton, and ended up “Runner-up” in the same category.
