The Hamilton Ross Group & Massey Ferguson Raised Funds for RSABI at the Royal Highland Show

The Hamilton Ross Group and Massey Ferguson joined forces at the Royal Highland Show 2023 to raise money for the RSABI charity, who provides multi-faceted support to those working within the Scottish Agriculture industry. We have chosen RSABI as our partner for this year, as part of our 90th anniversary celebrations.

For the first time, the Hamilton Ross Group was asked to run the Massey Ferguson shop of complementary products and clothing on the Massey Ferguson stand at the Royal Highland Show – a great way to meet with potential customers and network with existing customers alike, with a passion for the brand of red tractors.

Not all tractors on the stand were red though, as Massey Ferguson had flown in a very special machine entirely customised for a customer in England – a MF 8S.225 full black, boasting unique options, tailored through the new “MF By You” factory-fit service based in Beauvais in France, and further completed by an English dealership across the Channel.

Entries to the #Keep Talking Photography Competition displayed at the SAYFC Centre

Our team was pleased to help raise money for our partner charity RSABI, via the sponsoring of the Photography Competition organised by SAYFC, whose theme “Keep Talking” was meant to raise awareness and break the stigma around mental health. Sam Mercer, Massey Ferguson Brand Manager, working from our Perth and Cupar depots, was there to give out the prizes in person at the awards ceremony on Saturday night.

Massey Ferguson also volunteered to contribute to the fundraising for RSABI, with a recently renovated kiddie tractor, where each 50p for the ride went towards the charity. The additional collection bucket on the stand included a surprising £80 donation from a passing stag party.
