Arran Show 2013 tractor factor! The new Massey Ferguson 7618 is on its way!

There’s a big buzz in our Hamilton Brothers Depots today as the posse prepare for their annual sojourn to Arran!

The vans, trailers and jeeps are being loaded up with a huge selection of our top selling Agricultural and Groundcare Machinery and of course the biggest Daddy of them, our brand new, out the box MASSEY FERGUSON 7618 Demonstrator is revving up raring to go – so please, no bun fights boys as to who’s driving – my money’s on the biggest Daddy of us all – oor Campbell Holmes!

Visitors to the Show are really in for a treat with this year’s Tractor Factor! The MF 7618 Dyna-6 represents engineering genius for West of Scotland farmers –  same compact size and manoeuvrability as its 6480 predecessor but with 175hp, a power to weight ratio equivalent to the 6490, you’ll have your land ploughed and cultivated faster than you can eat your ploughman’s lunch!

This year for the first time we are also delighted to showcase our fantastic range of Wacker Neuson equipment. Last year we became Scotland’s only authorised dealer of WACKER NEUSON Construction Machinery AND Light Equipment, so John Young our Construction Sales Manager is currently wrestling with his pride and joy, a bright yellow Wacker Neuson 28Z3 2.8 ton Excavator which boasts a totally unique vertical digging system – ideal for hilly terrain!

John’s also hoping to squeeze in a WP1550 industry leading ‘Wacker’ Plate which can be used for a host of compaction processes and a Wacker Neuson Petrol Driven Demolition Hammer which does a brilliant job with no external power supply required!
