Celebrate 60 Years of Massey Ferguson with Hamilton Brothers at the 2018 Diamond Roadshow!

To celebrate the 60^th anniversary of their brand, Massey Ferguson are taking their latest range on the road and you’re invited!

The Roadshow will allow customers to get up close and personal with the all-new Massey Ferguson tractor, grass kit and baler Diamond range! What’s more, it is coming to Lowland Hall in the Ingliston Highland Centre on 20^th March and you are invited!

Running from 2pm-9pm, the Diamond Roadshow promises to be the event of the year with the full Massey line up on display, a chance to talk to our Sales experts, pick up a free Diamond goodie bag, tuck into food and drink and enter a prize draw to win a trip to the award-winning Massey factory in Beauvais! Here’s a taster of what you can expect from the new Massey Ferguson line up:

The New 95-400hp ‘S Effect’ Tractor Range

At Agritechnica 2017, Massey Ferguson announced that they were introducing the ‘S effect’ across their full range of high-spec Beauvais-built tractors! This new range encompasses the MF 5700 S, MF 6700 S, MF 770 S and MF 8700 S.

The new S effect range embodies style, sustainability and straightforward engineering and we can’t wait to introduce you to it! The new leading S effect design including new bonnet design, decals, lights and headlights and a new internal colour scheme.

What’s more, it boasts an increased Gross Vehicle Weight on certain models and the flagship MF 8700 S Series tractors now benefit from a new Active Mechanical Cab Suspension, which offers Continuous Damping Control (CDC) for ultimate comfort.

This line also considers required changes under the new Tractor Homologation Regulations and, therefore, pneumatic dual-line trailer brakes are now standard and hydraulic braking is available as an option.

Massey Forage into Harvesting Equipment

In addition to their all new tractor line up, Massey have also launched a state of the art Forage Harvesting range. This move follows the acquisition of the Lely Forage Business, which was finalised in October 2017.

Now, our Hamilton Brothers customers can take advantage of the revamped range of mowers, rakes and tedders. The two new MF DM TL-V Mounted Vertically Folding Disc Mowers allow for safe and efficient mowing with a TurboLift system and Central Pivot for smooth gliding across the ground and protection of the sward. The RK Rake range offers more variety with the option of one, two or four rotors.

Attendees will also get to see the tried and tested MF TD Tedder range. Whilst this range is not new, Massey have proven their tedders reliability and flexibility with widths ranging from 4.50m to 12.70m and spreading angles of 5°, 18° and 20.5°.

The Big Massey Bale Out

Last but by no means least is the new range of Massey Ferguson Round Balers. Developing on the previous Lely models, this range boasts exclusive features and a superior design, which facilitates high performance and low maintenance… and we can’t wait to show it to you!

The RB series is comprised of five Fixed and Variable Chamber Balers. The Fixed Chamber Balers deliver dense, hard-centred bales as they are equipped with 18 Powergrip Rollers, which include ten unique ribs and thee Xtracut options. The two Variable Chamber Balers available, ensure consistent density and are also available with three Xtracut options.
