Aptly named the ‘GRASSHOPPER’, like its herbivorous counterpart, this machine will make light work of large expanses of grass, thatch and shrubland as it mows, scarifies, collects, chops and rolls – ALL IN ONE PASS!

As with the self-propelled Amazone Profihopper, (also new to Hamilton Bros this season), the Groundkeeper uses Amazone’s unique, SmartCut rotor system technology. With its V-shaped rather than linear knife arrangement, high suction capability and 2650 rpm speed, the machine is so robust, reliable and versatile that it will effortlessly continue to cut, finely shred, collect (even debris!) and compost into its large hopper regardless of wet weather conditions which seems to be par for the course for our West of Scotland weather system these days and a nightmare for greenkeepers!

The SmartCut rotor system knives are high wear-resistant, very low maintenance and can be quickly turned without tools. Indeed all the components of the rotor system are easily accessible so cleaning and maintenance is a breeze. Additional benefits of this sophisticated system include reduced fuel costs and a 5dB reduction in noise levels so it’s even more user friendly.
