Alastair Dixon, newly appointed Argyll and Islands Agricultural Sales Manager

We’re delighted to announce the recent appointment of Alastair Dixon as Area Sales Manager for our Argyll and Western Isles customers. Many of you will know Alastair who hails from 3^rd generation farming stock having grown up on Killinochonoch Farm, Lochgilphead. On leaving school he studied land engineering for a year at Barony College, Dumfries prior to securing a three year apprenticeship at Hamilton Brothers, qualifying as an Agricultural engineer.

“It’s a new year and a new career for me and I’m really excited about this challenge” says Alastair. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to go back to my roots and put my passion for agricultural machinery and technical ability to the test”. Since taking up his new role just prior to the end of the year Alastair has been busy catching up with customers all up the west coast from Oban, Mull and Tiree to Lochaber, Kintyre, North and South Uist and even Benbecula and Barra!
