Did you know that we have a dedicated Hydraulic Hose Department at our Bishopton and Tarbolton Depots with the facility to make a hose from a quarter to an inch in minutes?

In 2014 we invested in the very latest crimping, cutting and cleaning tools for the launch of our Hydraulic Hose Department. Now, we stock over 300 variations of adaptors, couplers and oils for every application from small 85HP tractors to 280HP monster machines and, even, lorries!

The brainchild of Bishopton Agricultural Service Manager Ken Smyth, our Hydraulic Hose Department was introduced to increase efficiency in handling emergency breakdowns. Since its installation last winter, the department has expanded vastly due to popular demand.

“With more and more enquiries for different applications, we have doubled the quantity of parts so we can now offer hoses in metric and imperial sizes, from a quarter to an inch,” said Ken.

Custom made hoses in minutes!

In addition to numerous enquiries from our agricultural customers, Ken reveals that we have also received requests from lorry drivers for Hamilton Brothers hydraulic hoses.

With more parts in stock, our expert staff can now create high quality hoses for a whole host of different machinery in a matter of minutes.

Since the dedicated department has been put in place, our service success rate has increased.

“We now have a higher first time fix rate, nine times out of ten the machine will be repaired on the first go,” Ken noted
