Our Story

JCB Reach New Heights with the World’s First Teleskid!

JCB reach for the stars with yet another world first achievement. Hot on the heels of the revolutionary Agri Pro is the multifunctional Teleskid!

Launched at the Grassland and Muck event, the terrific Teleskid has been hailed as the next must have for UK farmers. It’s easy to see why as JCB have created a productive powerhouse that masters the work of four machines – a telescopic handler, masted forklift, compact loader and a skid steer!

Another World’s First!

Reaches 60% further forward than any other skid steer on the market!

As the world’s first skid steer and compact track loader with a telescopic boom, the Teleskid takes innovation to new heights and is currently the only skid steer on the market able to combine vertical and radial lift capacity.

The unique telescopic boom can reach 8% higher than the largest skid steer loader in the world! This enables it to casually clear high-sided manure spreaders, trailers or feed mixers, and to double stack- and retrieve- hay, silage and straw bales with ease.

The unbelievable forward reach of 2.25m ahead of the front wheels allows the Teleskid to reach 60% further forward than any other skid steer on the market.

Record-breaking Feature!

Just when you think it can’t possibly get any better, JCB sneak in another record-breaking feature as the Teleskid is also the only skid steer that can dig below its chassis to an unparalleled depth of around one metre. This final flourish makes for one versatile machine which can turn within its own length and operate in and around tight farm buildings.

Key Features of the Teleskid:

  • 74hp/55kW JCB Ecomax Tier 4 Final/Stage
    IIIB emissions compliant Engine.
  • 4m Lift Height.
  • 25m Forward Reach.
  • Dig 3 Feet below ground.
  • Lift up to 3695 lb with the boom retracted or 1600 lb lift with the boom fully extended.
  • Operate from a 33 percent larger-than-average cab.
  • 60% better visibility than twin-arm machines.
