Wacker steals the show at ScotPlant!
Hamilton Brothers and sister company, Ross of Lanark, teamed up with Wacker Neuson to showcase their latest range of compact machinery and light equipment at the much anticipated ScotPlant show last weekend. The event, which took place at the Ingliston Royal Highland showground, commanded a huge turnout. After months of planning and preparation, George Harvie, Hamilton Brothers Sales Manager, said: “It was well worth the effort! We were overwhelmed by the positive response to the new range.”
“We were particularly excited about Scotplant 2016 as both Hamilton Brothers and Ross of Lanark were present for the first time, following Ross of Lanark’s recent appointment as Wacker Neuson agents for East Central Scotland. The Wacker Neuson brand has increased in popularity over the last two years and, judging from the sales and enquiries, I’m in no doubt that Wacker Neuson will continue to thrive in the Scottish construction industry”.
Crowd pullers included the recently launched, award winning RD18 and RD27 Tandem Rollers. Totally unique to Wacker Neuson, the Tandem Rollers are fitted with drums that maintain permanent contact with the ground and synchronously rotating weights to ensure comfort whilst working in vibration sensitive areas. A popular crowd pleaser, we have no doubt that these models will be rolling out the door!

The industry leading ‘Wacker Plates’ and revolutionary remote controlled Trench Roller were of course in great demand but the electric and petrol driven Demolition Hammers and High Frequency Pokers also proved to be popular.
As expected there was great interest in the Wacker Neuson range of compact machinery, particularly in the revolutionary range of Vertical Digging System (VDS) Compact Excavators, and the Cabbed Dumpers.
