Wacker Neuson launch two new 3.5 ton Excavators!

Wacker Neuson expand their 3.5 ton excavator class with the launch of the ET35 conventional and EZ36 zero tail excavator, complete with a new design and interior plus additional outfitting options to provide for a productive and fatigue free work environment!

The two new additions to the world class Wacker Neuson line up are characterised by quick work cycles and precision, made possible by optimised hydraulics and the re-engineered motor-pump management.

The EZ36 Zero-Tail Excavator has been designed without rear overhang, making it ideal for work in confined urban construction sites as the operator does not have to worry about damaging the machine of blocking traffic while working. Whilst compact on the outside, the interior of both the EZ36 and the ET35 has been designed to be as spacious and ergonomic as possible.

“We recognised the needs of the market and are offering even more flexibility and comfort with the new 3.5 ton models from Wacker Neuson. The new generation impresses with a new interior, a new design and additional outfitting options, which allow for a productive and fatigue-free work,” emphasizes Gert Reichetseder, spokesman for management at Wacker Neuson Linz.

Both the ET35 and EZ36 are flexible and economical. The two new excavators boast a high level of stability for lifting heavy loads with externally located guide rollers we well as optimised weight distribution.

Just when you think it can’t het any better, Wacker have achieved another “world’s first” title with the development of a “hydraulic thumb”, a hydraulic clamp for the bucket to make gripping work easier!

Operator-friendly and efficient working!

Wacker Neuson, ET 35, EZ 36, Hamilton Brothers, Glasgow, ScotlandThe new design of the ET35 and EZ36 offers an ideal line-of-vision! Fitted with a two-part front windshield, the operator is able to adjust the cabin in just a few easy steps. The operator can also affix the lower and upper part of the window under the cab roof to ventilate the cab but also better protects the windows from damage.

Lateral sliding windows in the front and lower area, which can be opened in both directions, also provide optimal air circulation in the cabin. Moreover, the power of the air conditioner was increased so the cabin can be cooled to 16 degrees below the exterior temperature, which is ideal for the hot summer weather we have been experiencing.

Different adjustment options for seat and armrest, numerous storage compartments plus charging options and a USB connection for phones allows for a more comfortable working environment.

What’s more, drawing inspiration from the operating concept for the 6 and 9 ton excavator class, Wacker are offering customers the option of a 3.5 inch display in combination with a jog dial control element! This can be used for pre-setting and storing discharge volumes for hydraulic attachments, the engine speed control and various other functions.

Last but by no means least, Wacker Neuson have worked hard to re-work the tie-down points with eight large tie-down lugs on the vehicle chassis and on the dozer blade to ensure quick and easy lashing down, and therefore safe transportation.

Available with Vertical Digging System

Fans of the revolutionary Vertical Digging System (VDS) are in luck as both these new models can be equipped with VDS! The tiltable revolving superstructure from Wacker Neuson creates additional flexibility in application for machines, particularly on uneven surfaces. By using exact vertical digging, the end user can save up to 25% in material and time when excavating and filing.
