Area Sales Manager

Hamilton Brothers (part of the Hamilton Ross Group) are leading suppliers of Agricultural, Groundcare and Construction machinery across Central Scotland.

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a Agricultural Area Sales Manager to cover a defined territory across Perthshire and Central Scotland in this field-based role.

You will report directly to our senior management team and will visit customers in your assigned territory to promote both our business and the premium brands we represent.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with machinery / vehicle sales experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry to join our team, although anyone who has a natural interest in machinery should also consider this position as in house and manufacturer’s sales training will be provided.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • The first point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory
  • Identify business opportunities within your territory
  • Present our premium products and services to prospective customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
  • Work closely with the sales team and other internal teams to meet individual and group sales targets
  • Maximising upsells and cross-sell opportunities
  • Regularly report on your sales results to your line manager
