Requirements

Based at our Tarbolton depot / Ayr Market, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver informed, practical advice on animal health products and best practice, in person and over the phone.
• Support ordering, stocking and display of animal health products, keeping records, batch numbers and expiry dates accurate.
• Work closely with colleagues across the Group to deliver consistently excellent customer service.
• Stay sharp, keep up with product developments, seasonal health challenges and industry trends.
• Uphold the highest standards of animal welfare and regulatory compliance at all times.

Requirements:

• SQP accreditation (required).
• Genuine passion for animal health and welfare.
• Strong communicator with a customer-first approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Comfortable with day-to-day IT (Microsoft Office, Ordering Systems, etc).

Desirable: 

• Experience in an agricultural merchant, vet practice or animal health role
• A qualification in agriculture, animal science or veterinary nursing
• Knowledge of common health products and routine health plans
