Introducing…Colin Gray!

We had a chat with Colin Gray, our Groundcare Area Sales Manager, to find out more about him and his role with us at Hamilton Ross Group!

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I’m Colin, the newest member of the groundcare sales team covering Inverclyde, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway.

How long have you been working for Hamilton Ross Group?

7 weeks.

What first attracted you to work for us?

The opportunity to be part of a team, with many years of experience within the groundcare industry, will enable me to access the best knowledge and advice to thrive in my new role.

What does your job involve?

Getting out face to face with clients and showcasing the premium brands that we have to offer, all whilst building relationships and delivering the best service possible.

What is your favourite thing about working for Hamilton Ross Group?

After nearly a month in, I would say the best part would be the support I have received by all staff. It is an extremely busy environment, but there is always time to pass on advice or lend a hand in order to move forward as a team and again to deliver the best service possible.

What are you most proud of?

My Partner and my daughter.

Do you have any hobbies?

Golf (when possible), family activities or days out that means both my daughter and our puppy are entertained.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Treat everyone how you wish to be treated. Everyone has bad days, one persons attitude towards you could be totally different the second time round.

What are your career goals going forward?

To build up my knowledge of the range we have to offer and become more familiar our customer base. As well as gaining trust and building friendships along the way.
