Our service departments handle breakdowns, planned maintenance, service contracts and seasonal preparation from nine depots, with more than 100 support vehicles including fully equipped service vans. We run a continuous investment programme in our workshops, and many of our technicians have worked with the same customers and machines for decades.
Contact your local depot to book workshop time, arrange a field service visit or ask about warranty and service packages. Booking out of season is usually the cheapest way to keep a machine reliable.

Each depot has a team of experienced engineers and a fully equipped workshop, so routine servicing, diagnostics and major repairs are all handled in house. We use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and have factory technical support behind our engineers, and you get a clear estimate before we start.
Our field service engineers attend on farm and on site in fully equipped service vans, carrying the parts needed to finish most jobs on the first visit. Our coverage runs from city surroundings through to some of the most remote islands on the west coast. When a machine stops mid job, tell your depot what it was doing and we will get an engineer to it.
As Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Valtra dealers we sell and support AGCO’s own aftersales products alongside our own service work. That covers extended warranty beyond the standard machine warranty, maintenance contracts that fix your servicing costs, genuine and remanufactured parts, and factory technical support behind our engineers.
Each brand runs its own programme, and they are genuinely different from one another:
Activating your machine telematics can also reduce the cost of an AGCO maintenance contract, so it is worth asking about the two together rather than separately.
AGCO publishes service and product information for machine owners directly, including operator and maintenance manuals, warranty information, product support programmes and diagnostic trouble code lookup. You register your machine to get access.
Protect your investment by extending the warranty period beyond the standard cover. Our staff will go through the extended warranty options available for your machine so you know exactly what is covered and for how long, which takes the risk out of a major component failure. Ask whether the cover you are quoted is transferable if you sell the machine on, because that can be worth real money at trade in.
Know your running costs in advance with a fixed price service package. Scheduled servicing is agreed up front at a set price, so maintenance becomes a budget line rather than a series of surprises. Contact your local depot for pricing.
If you run a Fendt, Massey Ferguson or Valtra tractor that is five years old or more, AGCO SMART Check is a free inspection of over 70 points carried out by one of our technicians. It takes around two hours and you get a full condition and fault report, so you know what needs doing before the season rather than during it. AGCO report that over 30 per cent of tractors checked need no repairs at all, so it is worth doing even when you think the machine is fine.
SMART Check runs between October and the end of March and is subject to availability. Ask your depot to book you in.
A machine health check confirms your machine is fit for the season ahead before you need it. Our engineers inspect it, report what they find and carry out any remedial work required, which is far less disruptive than discovering the same fault mid harvest.
Workshops are quieter outside the peak, which means faster turnaround and more time to do the job properly. If a machine is finished for the season, book it in now rather than in the week you need it.
Keep your machinery safe and legally compliant. Our qualified staff carry out thorough examinations with the certification you need for inspection and assurance schemes.
National Sprayer Testing Scheme testing to keep your sprayer certified and compliant with assurance scheme requirements.
Cab air conditioning servicing, regassing and leak testing, which matters more than people admit during a long day in the seat.
We make hydraulic hoses in house, so a failed hose does not mean a machine standing for days. Call ahead or drop into your depot with the old hose.
If you run several machines, planned maintenance across the fleet on agreed intervals keeps everything serviced on time without you tracking hours. Your depot handles the scheduling and we work around your season rather than ours.
We fit genuine and remanufactured parts from our own counters, so repairs are not held up waiting on supply, and genuine AGCO parts carry a 12 month warranty that includes the labour when we fit them. Our workmanship is warranted too. If something we have done is not right, bring it back and we will put it right.
We employ around 180 people across the group, with manufacturer trained technicians at every depot and an ongoing training programme that keeps them current as machines change. Many have worked with the same customers and machines for decades, which is why a fault description over the phone often gets to the answer before anyone arrives.
