As a Groundcare Service Engineer, you’ll keep professional turfcare and groundcare machinery working at its best. You’ll combine hands-on mechanical work with modern diagnostics, supporting customers who depend on reliable equipment every day.
Hamilton Ross Group is one of the UK’s largest machinery dealerships. We have been trading since 1933, we are in our third generation of family ownership, and around 200 people work with us across nine depots in Scotland and the north of England. We represent major brands like Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Fendt, JCB, Wacker Neuson, Kubota, Honda, Stihl and Husqvarna.
You’ll service, maintain and repair a wide range of professional groundcare and turfcare machinery in the workshop and, when required, at customer sites. You’ll diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults, carry out repairs and prepare machinery to manufacturer standards.
You’ll work with manufacturer diagnostic software and specialist tools, complete accurate job records and support customers and colleagues with technical advice when needed. The role suits an engineer who takes pride in high standards, works well independently and enjoys solving practical problems.
