Small flies = big problem.
The Hamilton Ross Group Animal Health Division are on hand to offer you expert advice on how to deter flies and how to treat outbreaks.
Flies and other parasites are a huge problem on the farm, especially at this time of year when the weather is warm and humid. However, fear not as our Animal Health Department have a wide range of products in stock to help tackle and prevent the outbreak of these bothersome parasites.
Flies can cause irritation, spread disease and reduce productivity. The environment can play a big part in both the attraction and reproduction of flies as unclean animals, buildings and dung heaps are all attractive to flies.
The occurrence of outbreaks can be reduced by keeping your livestock clean as well as cleaning out buildings regularly and making sure that dung heaps are kept a distance away from livestock housing/grazing. Our Animal Health division are on hand to offer product advice on how to deter flies on the farm and how to treat flies on your livestock.
