Our Wear Yellow Bishopton Team!

Get your cameras ready because Hamilton Brothers have launched the mother of all farming photo contests with an almighty prize. All you have to do to enter is take a snap of yourself with a Hamilton Ross Group product and something in the Beatson yellow colour, then post it to the @HamiltonBrothers Facebook page with the hashtags #FarmYellow and #BeatsonCancerCharity and you could be in with the chance of winning £200 worth of gift vouchers!

This introduction of this competition follows the announcement in January that the Hamilton Ross Group, consisting of Hamilton Brothers, Ross of Lanark and Reekie Ltd, have chosen Beatson Cancer Charity as their charity of the year. With a target of £10,000 the Group have been working hard to collect donations over the counter and during the Agricultural show season. What’s more, staff have been taking part in various fundraising activities including a Wear Yellow Day at four of our depots and there are fun runs, bake offs and much more in the pipeline.

In addition to raising funds, the Hamilton Ross Group are also keen to raise awareness of the local charity and the fantastic work they do. With a catchment area of around 60% of the Scottish population, each year the Beatson sees more than 8,000 new patients and delivers more than 20,000 courses of chemotherapy and 6,500 courses of radiotherapy. Increased awareness is crucial to the charity’s development and this is what our #FarmYellow competition is all about!
