Visitors to our Bishopton depot this November may have noticed the abundance of mousers on the faces of our parts, servicing and sales staff.
Despite popular belief, they were not auditioning for Magnum PI but, rather, raising funds for the Movember Foundation, a global charity that tackles the challenges facing men’s health from prostate and testicular cancer to physical inactivity and mental illness.
A team comprised of 18 Hamilton ‘Mo Bros’ and one ‘Mo Sista’ united with one mission: to help change the face of men’s health. Whilst our men cultivated some mighty mos, our Mo Sista took on the “Move” challenge, exercising daily to raise funds. With some help from friends, family and, of course, our loyal customers, the company was able to raise over £4,500 for the charity!
Managing Director Eric Gardiner said: “I am very pleased with the continued efforts by staff to support various charities and I am proud to announce that we have managed to raise in excess of £4,500 for a worthy cause.”
Previously, Hamilton Brothers have supported several causes including Breast Cancer Awareness. However, this year the team chose the Movember Foundation with the hope of working towards a future in which men can lead healthier and happier lives. The 2015 fundraising campaign has been the company’s most successful to date and, looking to the future, Eric and his team plan to continue fundraising efforts in 2016 but, for now they are happy to relax and enjoy a clean shaven January!
