Pinned to be the next popular ‘all rounder’ for farm tasks, the new Valtra A4 benefits from a global design as it is the first 4th generation Valtra series to be manufactured both in Suolahti, Finland and Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil.

Having seen Valtra’s latest offering up close and personal, we reckon the new A4 tractor range will also be a hit in the West of Scotland! The reliable, nifty A3 series has been well received by our arable farmers and we predict the upgraded version will fly straight off the production line and into many a Scottish farm when it becomes available to the UK later this summer.
You are probably wondering what makes this latest offering so special? This amazing new A series offers fans more power for production with an improved 75 to 130hp, 7 model range! In addition, this latest offering from Valtra boasts similar features to its award-winning big brothers, the N and T Series but in a smaller package.
What’s more, sticking to Valtra’s core values, the new A series is better than ever before with excellent ground clearance, making it ideal for forest work and field work. With class-leading visibility and superb agility, the A Series is an excellent front loader tractor.
More power for production with the new A Series!
Fuelled by an innovative and compact AGCO Power Stage 4 diesel engine and equipped with four-valve units and new rail injection systems, the A4 series is capable of producing high power economically. State of the art technology, including SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and multiple chassis options, allows for a wide power range of 75 to 130 hp, high performance and increased fuel efficiency.
In addition, the new A4 series has a multi-application gearbox with 12 forward and reverse gears in two groups to minimise gear changes, and an additional super creeper option available for going as slow as 90 m/h. AutoTraction and HiShift features facilitate driving and with up to 5.2 tons lifting capacity, and with 98 l/min OC hydraulics this model performs excellently for a whole range of tasks.
Following from the success of the N4 and T4 series, Valtra have carried some elements of the aesthetic design into their latest A series. The newly developed A4 series aesthetics provide excellent visibility for all tasks when working during the day or night, in good or bad weather, in buildings or out in the fields.

With a brand new cab design, which offers the most space in this class of tractors, the A series is comfortable and functional making it easy and pleasant to use. Fitted with full electronic controls, including 4WD, diff lock, power lift and performance monitor, the all-new cab offers a modern working environment so you can relax and still work efficiently for those long days in the field! What’s more, the driver’s seat swivels 180 degrees to make reverse working efficient.
Almost 50 percent of tractors in the A and N Series are ordered with a factory-fitted front loader. That’s why the new fourth generation A Series is available with a new generation of factory-fitted front loaders in all chassis sizes.
As with all Valtra tractors, the A Series, with its modular design and hundreds of features and options, can be tailor-made according to individual customer preferences at the Valtra factory in Finland. AGCO Finance options and other services will be made available to customers following availability in July 2017.
