Hamilton Ross Group Calander Competition T&C’s (2025)

Type of competition: Hamilton Ross Group Calendar Competition (2025)

Winning prize: A selection of people will win a Hamilton Ross Group goody bag and a calendar each.

1- These Terms & Conditions apply to the Hamilton Ross Group Calendar Competition (2025). Entry to the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2- The Promoter is Hamilton Ross Group, whose registered office is at Greenock Road, Bishopton, Renfrewshire, PA7 5AP.

3- The Promotion is open only to customers of Hamilton Ross Group aged 16 years or over, except employees of Hamilton Ross Group and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

4- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

5- To enter the Promotion, entrants should send a photo of a machine previously purchased from Hamilton Ross Group to [email protected]. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

6- The Promotion will run on Facebook from Monday 16th of September 2024 until Friday 27th of September 2024(“the closing date”). Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.

7- All images submitted must be the work of the individual on whose behalf the entry is submitted and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that the image they submit has been taken with the permission of any featured persons and does not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Where applicable, entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is the work of the individual on whose behalf it is being submitted and that that individual owns the copyright in it.

8- Multiple entries per person are allowed. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries. Hamilton Ross Group reserves the discretionary right to disqualify any entry whether it believes, in its sole opinion to be offensive or otherwise inappropriate, not in the spirit of the Promotion or that infringes these terms and conditions or otherwise.

9- A selection of photos will be selected to feature in the Hamilton Ross Group’s 2025 calendar. The winning entries will be those which are judged to be the most visually appealing, original and self-explanatory by a panel of judges internal to Hamilton Ross Group.

10- The Promoter will notify the winners by email within 28 days of the closing date when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.

11- In the event that any prize is not claimed within 14 days of notification, the winner shall forfeit the prize and the Promoter may select an alternative winner or put the prize in a future giveaway.

12- The prize is as follows: a goody bag containing items chosen by Hamilton Ross Group, and a Hamilton Ross Group’s 2025 calendar. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable, and subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

13- The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

14- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

15- The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter shall not enter into correspondence with respect to its decision. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or exclude any individual for inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to: Tampering with the entry process (including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries allowed), or any other process, which, in the opinion of the Promoter in any way affects the fairness of the Promotion; Tampering with the operation of the Promotion or the website of the Promoter; Acting in violation of the terms of the Promotion; Violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines on the social networking site; Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; Submitting entries on behalf of another individual; or any conduct which would put other entrants at an unfair disadvantage.

16- Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective photographer. If the photograph is used in addition to this competition or the company website, permission will be sought first and where the photograph/s are used, the photographer will always be credited.

17- Personal data supplied during the course of the Promotion will only be used for the purposes of the administration of the Promotion but may be passed on to third-party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfillment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.

18- Winners agree to the use of their name, photograph, and geographical location, as well as their entry, in any marketing and publicity material (including social media, website, and print). Any personal data relating to the winners, or any other entrants, will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

19- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Promotion.

20- The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control.

21- The Promoter shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the winner in connection with the prize including but not limited to travel, accommodation or refreshments. Where the prize involves use of a third party’s goods or services/attendance at a third party’s venue, the winner will comply with any additional conditions applicable to attendance at/participation in an event/venue.

22- The competition and these Terms & Conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

23- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Hamilton Ross Group and not to any other party.
